So it’s been two weeks since I’ve written. I was able to go home last weekend and it was really nice to get away.
The week before I left though, was crazy. I had my huge packaging project due on Thursday. Not to mention, 5 tests throughout the week. And I don’t think I did really well on any of them, to be honest. The packaging project turned out really cool, though. And I can’t say I cared too much about the tests cuz I just wanted to get home.
On the way there, I almost fell asleep a couple times, but Dad and I figured out an alternate route which kept me awake. I took state route 20 through Georgia. I almost missed a turn, but the drive was really nice and I didn’t have to deal with traffic.
The padres and I went to Bonefish Grill as soon as I got back, and it was SO good! I had grilled salmon with spinach and fetta cheese. Mmm.
Anyways, this past week has been busy. Not so much with school work, but lots of extracurriculars. We had our Vintage outing this past week to Miyabi’s Japanese steak house. We also went to Reedy River and then Spill the Beans for dessert. I had so much fun. It’s like a whole new family.
A friend the other day told me that girls like it when guys are confusing. Well, I’m here to say that after thinking about that statement, I can’t fully agree, but I kind of do. I mean, I guess it wouldn’t be any fun if we knew exactly what was going on, but I hate being confused, too. It’s funny, though cuz every time I think I know what’s going on, something confusing happens and I have to learn to trust God again.
