the basics

Time to update.

I’m a recent college graduate (Bob Jones University 07). I got my degree in graphic design and thoroughly enjoyed my training there. Though I love design, I don’t live it. I fell in love with camp work after working at Ironwood for my 3rd summer in a row. Actually, I fell in love with it before that, but I didn’t know that’s the direction God would take me until a few months ago. (Ironwood is located in the Mojave Desert of California). I’m involved in Ironwood’s newest internship program—Ministry Bound. MB is a 2 year tool used to train college graduates who are interested in camp work. It’s helpful because it gives us more experience and training in specific areas which will make us more useful to various camps. I’m currently working as one of the program assistants.

My interests involve photography, music (I’m a pianist who loves to sing), reading, design, basketball, volleyball, hiking and friends. I’m also a huge fan of the men’s basketball team at Duke.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels that way towards graphic design. I enjoy it no matter how good I am at it. Also, this coming year, I too will be a senior graphic design student. However, I am at Arizona State University. It’s great, and we have professors from RISD and Basel. Nice to meet ya (sorta).

  2. Audrey Stees–I don’t know you, but you seem really cool. I know some of your friends on Vintage :). How fun to be a part of that. Thanks for your candidness/transparency on your site. NY sounded awesome, too! I’m so jealous!
